Rasmus Højgaard (born 12 March 2001) is a Danish professional golfer who has established himself as one of the rising stars on the DP World Tour. Born in Billund, Denmark, he took up golf at age four alongside his twin brother Nicolai. He turned professional in 2019 and made an immediate impact, winning the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in just his fifth start at age 18 years and 271 days, becoming the third youngest winner in DP World Tour history and the first player born in the 21st century to win on the tour. Rasmus has accumulated five DP World Tour victories, including wins at the 2024 AMGEN Irish Open where he held off Rory McIlroy, and the 2023 Made in HimmerLand where he became the first home winner. In 2021, he won the Omega European Masters just seven days after his twin brother won in Italy, making them the first brothers to win DP World Tour events in back-to-back weeks. He finished second on the 2024 Race to Dubai Rankings, earning dual membership on the PGA Tour for 2025. Known for his consistency and clutch play, Rasmus has a perfect 3-for-3 record in DP World Tour playoffs.
